Trickshot

A GMTK 2023 Submission:

In this game, you're not the wielder.. you're the gun! Fight against infinite hordes of incoming enemies until the last bullet leaves your barrel.  You might be a humble gun with a simple mechanic, but it is one that's hard to master. Do you have the skills to make the trickiest shots of them all?

Controls:

• Rotate CCW: A | Joystick left
• Rotate CW: D | Joystick right
• Hop: W | RMB | Controller A
• Shoot: S | LMB | Controller B

Tips:

• Hop first and do a slow-mo rotation, then shoot, to launch yourself off the ground in a controlled manner.
• Shoot while you're still in slow motion to get the best aim.
• Killing enemies gives you additional ammo. (and we ran out of time to balance this, so once you get past a point, you're effectively immortal :) )

Known bugs:

• Can sometimes be teleported to a random position (even out of bounds) due to wonky rigid body physics updates.
